Big month for us: XOSync V2 is live, and it shipped alongside a completely rebuilt website. If you’ve been syncing Ontraport to Xero with XOSync for a while — or you looked at us a year ago and moved on — here’s what’s changed.
XOSync V2: the same idea, a much smarter engine
The core promise hasn’t moved: every Ontraport sale, payment and refund becomes an accurate Xero invoice, automatically. What V2 changes is how much of the surrounding work the system now does for you.
AI-assisted setup
Connecting Ontraport and Xero used to mean a long afternoon of mapping products to items and taxes to tax codes. V2’s guided wizard pulls your products, coupons, gateways and taxes live from both platforms and uses AI-assisted matching to suggest where each one should go. High-confidence matches are pre-filled; the rest are a single click to approve. You stay in control — you just don’t do the legwork. Most connections are designed to go live in minutes, and you can run a test invoice before anything touches your real books.
A sync that heals itself
V2 is built around the idea that automation you have to babysit isn’t automation. Temporary API hiccups are retried automatically with backoff. Duplicate invoices are blocked at several levels — unique write keys, per-connection locks, and a reconcile step that adopts an existing Xero invoice rather than creating a second one — with a duplicate-detector report continually double-checking behind the scenes. When something genuinely needs you (a missing mapping, say), it lands in a plain-English review queue with one-click retry, adopt, skip or override, and you’re notified by email.
Built for more than one client
One login can now run several integrations at once — multiple Ontraport accounts syncing to multiple Xero organisations, with a fleet view to keep an eye on every connection. If you’re an agency, consultant or bookkeeper running Ontraport clients, this is for you.
Stripe reconciliation, included
If you take payments through Stripe in Ontraport, V2 records each Stripe payment against your nominated Xero bank or clearing account, tagged with the order ID and customer email so it matches its invoice in a click. No add-on, no extra fee — here’s how the Stripe reconciliation works.
And the rest
- Historical import — bring a window of past Ontraport sales into Xero when you first connect
- Multi-currency support, with each gateway mapped to a currency, branding theme and account
- Subscriptions and payment plans synced instalment by instalment, in your Ontraport timezone

The old site served us well, but it described a product that has moved on.
